Description

The program “Bachelor of Arts in Portuguese/Romance Studies” at Heidelberg University examines Romance languages, literature and cultures. The minor-25% has a duration of six semesters and is conducted in German and Portuguese. The syllabus comprises the four areas of Literary Studies, Linguistics, Cultural studies and Language practice. The curriculum includes the topics of the history and global spread of the Portuguese language, Portuguese language contact, the role of popular culture and its impact on society and others.
