The “Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Theology” course at Heidelberg University has a continuity of six semesters and is in German and English. The program provides students with advanced teaching in all theological areas. The major-50% includes the areas of Old Testament, New Testament, Church and dogma history, Systematic theology as well as Religious studies and intercultural theology. Students acquire abilities to analyze historically and critically essential sources of the Christian faith and the history of their interpretation and adoption. To apply, candidates should possess good skills in Ancient Greek and Latin.
