The program “Master of Arts in Spanish/Ibero-American Studies” at Heidelberg University focuses on Spanish and the Spanish-speaking world. The course concentrates on the study of the literary, linguistic and cultural aspects of the regions of Spain, Portugal, Spanish America and Brazil. The training lasts four semesters and is taught in Spanish and partly in German or English.  Students gain a thorough knowledge of the methods and analytical procedures of the relevant Spanish and Lusitanian subfields.
