The “Bachelor of Science in Sport Science” program at Heidelberg University has a continuation of six semesters. The course is concerned with working with and for people to achieve the best results for both parties. The program includes elements from different disciplines or develops original, interdisciplinary approaches to these fields. The minor-25% consists of the four areas Theory, Sport in Theory and Practice, Research Methods and Cross-disciplinary Skills. Students acquire the skills to plan and conduct sports and training activities for specific sports and different disciplines. Graduates can hold positions such as sports institution management, sports diagnostics, sports coaching and physiotherapy.
