The consecutive course “Master of Arts in Translation, Communication, Language Technology” at Heidelberg University introduces students to the theory and practice of translating different general and specialist texts into another language. The duration of the program is four semesters and is instructed in German and the chosen foreign languages. The training offers lectures, courses, final examination and completion of Master’s thesis. In addition, the program is internationally oriented and provides students with the opportunity to obtain a double degree. Students acquire theories and strategies of multilingual communication and cultural mediation and develop skills in innovative language technologies.
