The “Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering” program is provided by the Helmut Schmidt University with a duration of seven trimesters. The course is designed as an intensive form of study and consists of compulsory modules, elective modules and a thesis. “Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering” prepares participants for the extremely diverse field of activity such as building of residential and commercial buildings, roads, tunnels, railway stations and airports, coastal protection structures, offshore wind turbines and more. The program is conducted in cooperation with the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration.The course is targeting students with affinity to plan, organize and build communications as well as their interests in influencing the built environment, studying construction. Graduates learn important comprehensions in how to develop, construct, calculate, monitor, how to ensure safety and more.
