The “Master of Science in Civil Engineering” degree program offered by the Helmut Schmidt University is with a total length of five trimesters. The course teaches participants the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructures, focuses their attention to further requireaments in the field of Civil Engineering and expands the knowledge, as well as scientific, technical skills and abilities previously acquired in the Bachelor program. Graduates obtain a strong understanding of structural design, construction, analysis, planning, entertaining, preserving, recycling and more topics that are included in the course. “Master of Science in Civil Engineering” concludes with the master’s thesis. The program is also conducted in cooperation with the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration.
