With a total duration of seven trimesters, the “Bachelor of Science in Economics” is provided by the Helmut Schmidt University and focuses primarily on the study of microeconomic and macroeconomic. The program has a modular structure that covers Fundamentals of Economics, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics as well as Economic Policy. The course combines mathematics and statistics with exercises that enable participants to fully master their skills and thinking in a problem-solving manner. During the specialization phase, students are able to choose between Political Economics, Economics of the public sector, International economic policy and more. Included additional complementary socio-scientific and interdisciplinary parts from business administration, sociology, psychology, law and public management are provided throughout the course.
