The five-trimester degree program “Master of Arts in Educational Science” is provided by the Helmut Schmidt University and leads to a second academic degree and professional qualification. The course aims to expand and deepen the fundamental knowledge and experience obtained in the bachelor's degree and intensifies and strengthens student’s abilities to independently apply findings of educational science. The master degree professionally expands and builds the already gained in the bachelor comprehension and capabilities. Students master independency in analysis, evaluation of problems and tasks, analytical thinking as well as working independently. At the end of their studies, graduates must complete a master’s thesis.
