The Master program “Data Science for Public Policy” offered by Hertie School is a full-time, English-taught, two-year program. It is ideal for students with technical or social science backgrounds, who want to improve their analytical skills and gain better understanding of the policy world. Throughout their studies, participants will learn the fundamentals of algorithmic decision-making that will help them in solving complex tasks and challenges that might occur throughout their professional experience. The courses include Public Policy, Economics, Data Structures and Algorithms, Mathematics for Data Science and Machine Learning. The students can complete an internship between the first and second year.
