The degree program “Master of Music in Music Direction instrumental/vocal” offered by the University of Protestant Church Music in Bayreuth provides a course of studies with a emphasis of a specific specialization area – choral conducting, children and youth choir conducting, Wind Choir Conducting and Ensemble Conducting/ Popular Music. This Master degree provides deepening of the focal point of the Bachelor programs in Protestant Church Music and Conducting. Through the Master, students develop their knowledge in a sense of a specific job profile. Additional instrumental and vocal qualifications are also available, with the goal of broadening the artistic range and putting it on a solid foundation.
