The “Master of Music in Claviorganum” program at HfMT Hamburg lasts four semesters and provides an Erasmus exchange. The keyboard course focuses on time from the period of Renaissance and Baroque. This program is designed for young musicians of the highest calibre. The aim is to achieve an excellent level of proficiency on this type of keyboard instruments (harpsichord, clavichord, organ) and impart extensive knowledge of the aesthetic and historical time of the 16th-18th centuries. The course offers seminars, musicological projects, historical performance practice, vocal ensembles, and more. Admission requirements are a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, diploma, or equivalent in harpsichord, organ, or church music.
