The “Master of Music in Conducting” at HfMT Hamburg has a duration of four semesters. During the course, students master the peculiarities of conducting in opera and concert. Students further develop and improve orchestral pieces of different genres and styles. The last exam the students have to cope with is the concert exam. Graduates pursue a career as Kapellmeister and orchestra director. Admission is a completed bachelor's degree, diploma or equivalent degree in conducting.
