The “Bachelor of Arts in Direction Drama” program at HfMT Hamburg lasts six semesters. Theatre-theoretical, historical and aesthetic discourses as well as social and sociological issues are observed in the program. The course focuses on the rehearsal process as an exploration of stage possibilities. Students, throughout the program, learn about the basics of the body, space, stage, acting, lighting, technology, multimedia, set and costume design. The admission requirement is a general university entrance qualification.
