The program “Master of Arts in Dramaturgy Music Theater/Drama” at HfMT Hamburg lasts four semesters. The course focuses on acting and music dramaturgy. The area of dramaturgy is one of the most diverse in theater and concentrates primarily on independence and divergent thinking. This field is beginning to connect with other pillars of arts-movement and dance theatre, audiovisual media, visual arts and performance-for experimental, project-oriented work. The program teaches students to assume responsibility in the management of theater and production and oversee the journalistic and media external presentation of theater practice. The admission requirement is a general university entrance qualification.
