The course “Bachelor of Music in Harp” at HfMT Hamburg lasts eight semesters. The purpose of the program is to enrich students with music theory knowledge while also providing various practices. The course curriculum consists of Mediation Module, Music theory modules, Musicology Modules and Practice-oriented compulsory module. The program includes etudes, technical exercises, scales, repertoire, symphonic literature and basics of posture, individual instructions, seminars, exercises, workshops and study projects, lectures and group classes. Graduates not only learn to play this beautiful and melodious instrument, the harp, however, they also specialize in instrumental music in general and are prepared for a variety of musical performances.
