The Keyboard instruments course “Bachelor of Music in Harpsichord” at HfMT Hamburg has a duration of eight semesters. The program includes etudes, technical exercises, scales, repertoire, symphonic literature and basics of posture, individual instructions, seminars, exercises, workshops and study projects, lectures, individual and group classes. Students further develop their organ playing skills, become familiar with playing the harpsichord, develop good and fine finger technique, repertoire experience on different keyboard instruments and singing skills. Finally, the students perform their last project, which takes the form of a public concert.
