The program “Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Education” at HfMT Hamburg runs over eight semesters. The course provides artistic and pedagogical training as well as creative processes and projects. The course curriculum includes main subjects such as violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba and others. Students have the freedom to choose electives and specialize in concert training, practical music school, ensemble management, and more. Graduates can start a job in music school, independent organizations, cultural institutions and as freelancers.
