The course “Bachelor of Education in Primary School Teacher Training” at HfMT Hamburg is six semesters long. The program aims to prepare students for a career as a teacher in primary schools. The curriculum incorporates Practical piano performance, Arranging for elementary schools, Choir and ensemble conducting, Basic Course Musicology and different seminars. The syllabus offers individual instruction, lectures, group instruction and seminars. Students acquire the ability to play two instruments and develop their singing voice in a technically adequate manner and learn to interpret musical works of various styles at an artistic level.
