The “Bachelor of Music in Tuba” program at HfMT Hamburg runs over eight semesters. The training aims to be as practice and application-oriented as possible. The program includes etudes, technical exercises, scales, from-the-leaf playing exercises, repertoire, symphonic literature and basics of posture, tension balancing and movement awareness. Finally, the students present their last project in the form of a public concert. To apply, students should have a general university entrance qualification.
