The five-semester study program “Master of Public Management: Social Insurance” offered by DGUV Hochschule located in Bad Hersfeld provides students with the needed knowledge in order to cope with management duties in higher functions of the social insurance institutions. Besides the theoretical foundations that students are taught, practical situations are also studies and discussed. To meet the expanding challenges of social insurance providers participants will learn how to recognize, regulate, and master complicated administrative activities autonomously, as well as make innovative decisions. The curriculum is designed within modules. There are ten modules and a job-integrated part, during which students will get to know the basics of personnel, organizational and project management in organization, leadership in the context of agility, and other relevant disciplines. Incorporated to the curriculum, there is also a transfer project, in which students are challenged to build professional solution in cooperation with other partners. Because of the modular structure of the program, participants have a great flexibility in regard to building their studies. Graduates of the program can work in the fields of marketing and sales, management accounting, supply chain management and logistics, etc.
