Description

The four-semester “Master of Music in Protestant Church Music - Classical” program at Hochschule für Kirchenmusik der Evangelischen Kirche von Westfalen is taught in German. The Master program deepens the already acquired knowledge from the Bachelor’s degree and expands it to the newly selected subjects. The curriculum encompasses several areas of study: instrumental, cantorial, music theory, scientific, as well as some optional course supplements from which students may choose. Students learn to play various musical instruments, compose and arrange music, and learn music theory. Thus, graduates can enter a variety of career fields.
