“Bachelor of Engineering in Automation - Industry 4.0 - specialization” offered by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is a study course with a duration of six semesters. The aim of the particular program is to provide participants with in-depth theoretical knowledge of digitalization. They become familiar with the manufacturing processes and are able to plan and control them. Students have the possibility to explore different theoretical lectures such as Microprocessor Technology, Sensor Technology, Microcontroller Technology, Robotics, Mathematics, Business Management. They will also choose between three specializations after their second semester: Automation-Industry 4.0, Networked Electromobility, or Mechatronics. After successfully completing their studies, graduates are qualified for professional career in the area of electrical engineering.
