Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is offering the six-semester degree program “Bachelor of Science in Biophotonics - Specialization”. It is aimed at students who are interested in natural sciences. They have the opportunity to understand what causes different diseases, and how to treat them efficiently. Participants become familiar with the proteins and DNA, as well as how the cells are working. Curriculum includes various subjects like Physics, Biology, Engineering, Biophotonics, Biophysics, Biophotonic Technologies. Participants are able to choose between three specializations, as well as to complete an internship program. Upon successful completion of “Biophotonics” graduates are qualified for professional career in pharmaceutical industry, medical sector, and others.
