“Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology” is a study course with a duration of six semesters, which is provided by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. IT combines in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of both computer and natural sciences. Participants are able to analyze biological data, by using complex computer methods and tools, as well as to make molecular diagnostics. They will explore the subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Statistics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, while also strengthening their soft skills. After completing their studies, graduates have a wide range of career prospects in companies in biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, food industry, and others.
