“Acoustical Engineering” is a dual, five-semester, Master of Science degree course, offered by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. It is in cooperation with Munich University of Applied Sciences. The program is designed for prospective students, with a Bachelor’s degree, who wish to deepen the knowledge they have gained. They become familiar with the engineering processes, and scientific methods, and are able to apply them in practice. Curriculum includes the subjects Higher Mathematics, Psychoacoustics, Management and Contract Law, Simulation Methods in Acoustics, Fundamentals of Technical Acoustics. Successful completion of the program leads to a wide range of career opportunities in medical technology, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction and others.
