Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is offering the Diploma program “Economics for Engineers” with a duration of eight semesters. Students entering in the course have the possibility to expand the theoretical knowledge they have gained, while also improving their social skills. The curriculum includes both theory and practice, as well as an internship program abroad, where students will strengthen their language skills. Some of the main subjects are Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting & Balancing, Economics, Engineering Mechanics. In addition, participants will choose between four different areas to focus on: Operational Management, Strategic Management, Energy Management, or Mechanical Engineering. By the end of their studies, they are able to solve complex engineering tasks, or problems in professional manner. Graduates have a wide range of career prospects in national and international companies, associations and public institutions.
