The six-semester program “Bachelor of Engineering in Laser and Surface Technology – Specialization” is provided by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. It is aimed at participants who are interested in technologies. Students have the chance to learn the foundations of mechanical engineering, and how to design new components, which can be used in different products. After their fourth semester, participants will choose between three specializations. The study plan includes theoretical lectures and practical exercises in laboratory. Some of the main subjects are Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, Physics, General Chemistry, Machine Elements, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, Hydraulics, Coating Techniques. Upon successful completion, graduates can find career in the mechanical, plant, automotive and electrical engineering sectors.
