The six-semester degree course “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics - Specialization” is offered by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. It is ideal for those who are interested in both technology and computer science. They learn how to develop new products, and manage different tasks independently. After their second semester, participants will choose between three specializations: Automation-Industry 4.0, Networked Electromobility, or Mechatronics. The study plan for the course includes the subjects Mathematics, Basics of Information Technology, Physics, CAD Techniques, Business Management, Signals and Systems, Robotics, Industrial Communication. Graduates of “Mechatronics” are prepared for professional career in the electrical industry, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, medical technology companies, and IT service providers.
