The degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Networked Electromobility – Specialization” offered by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is with a duration of six semesters. Participants have the opportunity to become familiar with the foundations of engineering science. They learn how to design and develop electromobility components, or vehicles. The study plan includes both theoretical lectures such as Mathematics, Basics of Information Technology, Physics, Engineering Mechanics, Analog Technology, Car2Car, Sensors, CAD Techniques, as well as practical trainings in laboratory. After their second semester, students will choose between three specializations: Automation-Industry 4.0, Networked Electromobility, or Mechatronics. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates can find professional career in vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
