Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences is offering the six-semester part-time study course “Master of Arts in Social Work”. It is designed for students who already hold a Bachelor’s degree and wish to gain further knowledge and qualification. The program is practice-oriented, providing participants with solid consulting competencies. They learn how to advise, help and support people in need, or with a disabilities, as well as to deal with various social situations, or tasks. Students will attend different theoretical and practical lectures such as Advising, Guiding, Controlling, Practical Reflection, Application-related Deepening. Upon successful completion graduates are prepared for a wide range of career prospects, for example in social organizations, social administrations, management consulting, and more.
