The study course “Master of Arts in Social Work” with a duration of four semesters is provided by the Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. Students have the opportunity to expand the theoretical and practical knowledge they have gained during their Bachelor’s studies. They acquire solid social competencies, and are able to manage different tasks, or issues independently. The curriculum of the particular discipline includes variety of lectures such as Consulting, Steering, Guiding, Practical Reflection, Application-related Deepening, where participants will also become familiar with the social processes. After successful completing their studies, graduates are qualified for management positions in social organizations, management consulting, welfare organizations and others.
