The certificate course “Supervision and Coaching” offered by the Hochschule Mittweida has a duration of six semesters. The aim of this particular program is to provide students with knowledge how to deal with different consulting situations, and learn what are the supervision tasks. They learn complex methods and theories, and are enabled to apply them in practice independently. The curriculum includes theoretical lectures, seminars and practical exercises. Some of the subjects includes History, Theory & Concepts, Social Science Background, Contract Design, Marketing for Supervisors, Ethical Issues in Supervision, Analysis of Setting and Framework.
