The dual program “Bachelor of Science in Nursing” at hochschule 21 runs over eight semesters. The course is taught in combination with the latest discoveries in nursing, health sciences and related sciences such as medicine, psychology, social sciences, management, ethics and education. The training offers internships in cooperative companies with the university to put into practice students’ knowledge. Students acquire numerous skills that they will successfully apply in the health sector, such as assessing the quality of care, participating in guideline implementation, and assuming technical management in a disciplinary team or interdisciplinary team. The admission requirements are a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or a technical diploma and a training contract with one of the university partners.
