“Bachelor of Science in Medical Engineering and Data Science” is a full-time study course offered by HS Aschaffenburg – University of Applied Sciences with a total length of seven semesters. The aim of the bachelor degree program is to use practice-oriented teaching in order to provide prospective students with the professional training based on scientific knowledge and methods which enables graduates to work independently as engineers with a focus on medical informatics. Students acquire a broad range of specialist skills at the interface between computer science, engineering and medicine along with the strong IT competence to be able to take on tasks in the development, planning, support, consulting and sales of networked user systems in companies in medical informatics and technology, pharmaceutical industry, software consulting and in IT departments of hospitals as well as medical care centers.
