The seven-semester degree course “Bachelor of Science in Modern Materials” is offered by HS Aschaffenburg – University of Applied Sciences. The prospective students acquire basic knowledge from chemistry, physics and mathematics as well as the cross-sectional disciplines, such as mechanical engineering.  By using their obtained comprehension in structure-property relationships of metals, plastics, glasses and ceramics, the graduates will be able to design projects for material optimization, material innovation, sustainable product development, resource-efficient production or process development by the comprehensive learning through laboratory tests in state-of-the-art laboratories.
