Offered by the HS Aschaffenburg – University of Applied Sciences, the course “Bachelor of Science in Software Design” is with a total duration of seven semesters. The degree program aim is to teach the prospective students how to develop high-quality software while also providing them with the knowledge of methods of project management and teamwork abilities in order to concretely teach concretely how software development works in practice. During their study, students learn to program as well as the entire range of software development including the IT security, web development, multimedia technologies and more. Throughout the multimedia technology module, the students gain an overview of audio and video codes, data compression and data transmission while the course also provides the opportunity to choose from list of subjects such as languages, entrepreneurship, intercultural communication and more.
