University of Applied Sciences Kaiserlautern, founded in 1971, is a public university seated in Kaiserlautern, Rhineland-Palatinate and with further sites in Primasens and Zweibrücken. With more than 6,000 students, it ranks among the large higher education institutions in Rhineland-Palatinate. The University breaks down into five faculties: the Faculty of Applied Engineering Science, the Faculty of Applied Logistics and Polymer Science, the Faculty of Construction and Design, the Faculty of Business Administration, and the Faculty of Computer Science and Microsystems Technology. The following degrees can be obtained at University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern: B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.A., M.Sc., M.Eng., and MBA. In some cases the University provides the possibility to study without any higher education entrance qualification.
