The “Master of Arts in Applied Art and Design’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a three-semesters program, created by the Peter Behrens School of Arts Faculty of Design. The course is primarily focused on conceptual design practice, theoretical and analytical approaches, and research-based teaching. The participants are expected to explore the cultural and professional city landscape. The interdisciplinary course has an international focus and examines the numerous forms of expression in the areas of object, jewelry and product design. During their study, the students are introduced to extensive practice aiming to connect their theory knowledge with their own design skills. The University has established partner collaborations so that the participant can benefit from the external cooperation with other design working groups.
