The “Master of Arts in Culture, Aesthetics, Media’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a three/five-semester program, created by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Cultural Studies. The course is primarily focused on developing academic and design skills in the fields of fine arts, music, literature and aesthetic practice. The interdisciplinary approach includes in the educational program key modules like Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Cultural and Project Management, Aesthetics and Cultural History, Research Methods in Social Sciences and Cultural Studies. The study program combines cultural, media and social science theories with extensive practice. The participants are expected develop special competences in fine arts, music, literature, performative arts, etc. Upon graduation, the students can pursue a career in public administration, cultural management, cultural and educational institutions, cultural facilities, journalism, public relations and publishing.
