The “Bachelor of Science in Energy and Environmental Technology’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a six-semesters program, provided by the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering. The innovative program is primarily focused on all aspects of energy and energy management in different professional areas. The participants are expected to gain knowledge on electricity in power plants, renewable energies, and energy-saving technologies. In order to apply the mastered theory, the students are supposed to get familiar with the specific measurement technology. The interdisciplinary approach of the course covers areas like ecology and economy too. Upon graduation, the participants could pursue a career in development, product management, project planning or in technical sales; engineering offices; energy supply companies; energy consultancies, etc.
