The “Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering: Mechanical Engineering’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a seven-semester program, created by the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering. The course is primarily focused on the major areas of technology and economics. The interdisciplinary approach manages to introduce the participants to the work of the designers and production engineers, combined with the developed understanding of the cost management and procurement. Students are expected to gain deep knowledge on business administration, finance, technical basis, and mechanical engineering. The University organizes different seminars that the students can take part in. Upon graduation participants can pursue a career in the fields of Production management and optimization, Technical sales, Product management, Service engineering and management, Plant engineering, Logistics, supply chain management.
