Description
The “Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a three-semester program, created by the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering. The course is primarily focused on gaining fundamental and methodical skills in a broad range of mechanics topics. The participants are expected to choose a certain engineering topic to develop further. The interdisciplinary approach gives the students the chance to master modern simulation tools and develop profound knowledge of measurement technology. Among the key subjects in the course are Engineering Mathematics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Method, Simulation of Mechanical Systems, and Computer-Based Measurement Technology. Upon graduation the participant can pursue a career in the fields of: Mechanical engineering, Process plant engineering, Vehicle construction, Power engineering, Process engineering, Aerospace, Electrical engineering, Medical technology, Safety technology, etc.
