The “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering: Production Technology’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a seven-semester program, created by the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering. The course is primarily focused on the optimized, cost-efficient and smooth production of components or entire machines. This includes a variety of engineer products like - machine tools, 3D printing machines, airplanes, complex automated systems, etc. During the course, the participants are introduced to different computer-based methods (CAD, FEM, FMEA) support the engineering processes. The students are expected to perform numerous experiments and to participate in different simulations. Upon graduation participants can pursue a career in industries like mechanical engineering, plant engineering, vehicle construction, power engineering, process engineering, aerospace, electrical engineering, medical technology, safety technology, agro technology, food technology, engineering services, etc.
