The “Master of Science in Media Informatics’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a three- or four-semester program, created by the Faculty of Media. The course is primarily focused on the fundaments of informatics and natural sciences as well as on the neighboring disciplines - media design and production. The educational program is divided into two main specialization fields: virtual environments and digitalization in multimedia systems. Some of the key subjects include Information Security, Mobile Systems, Computer Animation, Virtual Reality, and Augmented Reality Systems. Upon graduation, the participants can pursue a career in the areas of software development and software architecture, usability, media installations, sound engineering, virtual reality, computer animation, e-business and security, video and broadcasting, multimedia networks, etc.
