The “Bachelor of Arts in New Craft Object Design’’ study program offered by the Hochschule Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences is a seven-semesters program, created by the Faculty of Architecture of Peter Behrens School of Arts (PBSA). The course is primarily focused on objects, jewelry and products and their development from an idea to a physical realm. The participants are expected to actively analyze, discuss and maintain their own creative experiments during the course. The program is the perfect fit for any skilful individuals opened towards new fields of art and creative expressions of material, form or content. The program emphasizes on the contemporary blend between the digital and analogue, the tradition and the future, the classical techniques and the computer-related ones. The graduates can pursue a career in different areas, including product and jewelry design, design services, technical laboratories, the manufacturing industry, start-up centers, art teaching, etc.
