The eight-semester full-time Diploma program “Informatics” offered at HTW Dresden University of Applied Sciences is focused on teaching the fundamentals of electronic data and communication technology. The students will gain knowledge how to transfer and process the information, and how to deal with different mathematical problems. They will also improve their skills in analyzing and structuring. The study plan includes the subjects Software engineering, Mathematics, Operating systems, and Programming, and can take part in an internship program. The course will prepare students for career in IT companies, Research and development, IT trainers and lecturers.
