The full-time Master degree program “Master of Science in Landscape Development” offered at HTW Dresden University of Applied Sciences has a duration of three semesters. This is a practice-oriented program, and it is designed to provide the students with the fundamentals of the environmental sciences. The participants will learn more about the environment, and ecosystems. At the end of the course, they will be able to design and plan different projects and tasks by using scientific methods. The study plan consists of the subjects Landscape Development, Analysis and evaluation of land uses in the cultural landscape, Water balance and water management, and Urban Ecology in Landscape Development. Completing this course will qualify the students for professional work in authorities and administrations, environmental organizations, or research institutions.
