The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems Engineering” is offered at the Ilmenau University of Technology. It is focused to provide in-depth knowledge of the digitalization in business, administration and society, as well as to teach students how to create, design and use the information systems. They have the opportunity to take part in an internship program, where they can gain essential professional knowledge. Students will attend theoretical lectures like Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Law, and Fundamentals of Business Law, while also strengthening their soft and communication skills. Successfully completing the program will qualify the students for career opportunities for example in IT and management consulting, Process management, IT project management, IT system and software development, and many more.
