The six-semester study program “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” is offered at the Ilmenau University of Technology. It is designed to provide the students with in-depth technical knowledge of the computer science, as well as to develop their methodological and personal skills. The study content includes theoretical lectures such as Theoretical Foundations, Professional Programming, Software Engineering, Databases, Operating Systems and Computer Architectures. In addition, they have the opportunity to choose between six areas to specialize in. Those who would like to improve their professional knowledge and skills, can take part in an internship program. Successfully completing the course will qualify the graduates for career in a Software Development, Design and Management of IT Systems, Healthcare, Research and Development, and more.
